Nothing but solid sushi delivered quickly and that’s all I need! Somehow, never actually visited in person so if you’re looking for a review of the restaurant itself, the ambiance or the in person dining service then you’re in the wrong place. If you’re on the UWS and looking for sushi delivered tonight, then this is your review. I’m probably north of 30 orders in the past 4 years and have no intention of changing that pace. Fish is always fresh, prices are good – not cheap but not terribly expensive – and perhaps best of all, they come INCREDIBLY quickly compared to almost any other delivery option.
My gotos are the salmon lover roll, the chu toro, the rice crisp roll and toro scallion. Love that they offer sides of ginger, eel sauce and spicy mayo – very few seem to let you do sides of anything but ginger and I love having some extra eel sauce around.
Occasionally I’ll do the katsu, which is nicely breaded and always good the next day in the air fryer. Can’t go wrong with Mido!
